FIRST CHAPTER
Ellen didn't finish college although she was the sister who liked to write the most. She was the one that always had the ambition to become a well known writer, a personage in a list of celebrated authors recognized and adored by millions, but no. That didn't happen. Instead, Ellen worked in a gas station. She would read classics between a customer and another while she barely cared about looking up to say 'good morning, how do you do?' or the much hated 'thank you, have a good day'.Ellen couldn't even notice when there were real chances of epic novel-like stories happening right before eyes, she didn't have much time. All she had was her old and dead and long gone hope agonizing at some distant road. A road she had forgotten all about. Any road in any given town.
But what about Ellie? She had ambitions... but they involved a handsome man, a white picket fenced home and blond kids running out to the front yard while sparkling sprinklers got her children's clothes wet. In between her cooking and her picking the flowers in the backyard, she would read Shakespeare to her first born who would be as passionate for books as she was herself.
Ellen could throw up just by projecting such scene.
Ah, women... huh?
