Facebook.com And How to Make Money Off It

What is facebook.com? It is certainly a national craze among US College students and Teens. No longer is college alone the right of passage but the eternal glory of having your profile listed on facebook that is altogether electrifying. In short, it is not
the wild drinking parties that make the experience alive but rather registration on this website.

The website started by Harvard students is meant to connect college friends. Recently, though some faculty members have joined the site to connect to their students. It seems that this site is becoming a one-size fits all solution to communication between students, professors, and High School friends. It is interesting to see how extensive this service has become.

But what does this mean to you? Facebook.com offers advertising on its site that can be directed to local college students. In other words, every time a student logs on they can see an ad for your local product. This has been used very effectively by on-campus groups but can also be used by the savvy business person. If you are opening a chain in the area that offers delivery service, put your phone number and website up on facebook and watch the magic happen.

This is a fairly cheap and creative way to advertise to the 18-25 year old set, one of the groups that are sure to buy the most late night snacks. It’s certainly a good investment opportunity if you have a business already or if you want to earn extra cash. Invest in a new business, whether it be pizza, Chinese, Vietnamese, or whatever, let facebook.com take your business further.

All in all, facebook.com offers students a new way to communicate and a new way for savvy businesses to cater to the college-age market. With thousands of users at many colleges, logging on every day this is a great investment opportunity and a wonderful way to advertise your business.
