Binghamton University has been around since 1946 and is now one of the best State University of New York (SUNY) schools and has an impressive roster of extracurriculars, housing options, faculty and more.  It has many strong programs including one of the best human development programs, a great management program, and an excellent theatre program.

The theatre program at Binghamton utilizes its five theatres including the Watters Theatre, the Anderson Center Concert Center, and the Chamber Hall.  Though the Spring term is just starting at Binghamton, there are already great shows in the works.   These shows include two adaptations of great novels and plays of yesteryear.

The Canterbury Tales are playing at the Binghamton University Watters Theater. This is a special version of it adapted by Binghamton University alumni Tom Beyer. It is sure to be quite the show. Its cast of characters is already beginning to form.  It is playing in the Watters Theatre February 24-25 and March 3-4 at 8PM and on March 5 at 2PM.

Also coming up soon at the Watters Theater is "A Macbeth" adapted by Charles Marowitz. It is playing at the theater on April 28, 29, May 5, 6 at 8:00pm and May 7 at 2:00pm.

You can call the Box Office at Binghamton University at (607) 777-ARTS. Or you can log on to their website at Anderson.binghamton.edu. They are sure to be wonderful performances and nights to remember.   Tickets for both shows are $14 for General Admission, $12 for Seniors, and $8 for students.  Enjoy the show!
