A 2 Million Look Back into the Past,

Many things have happened since I first began writing here on Associated Content on April 17, 2007. What began as a journey to stretch my weekly paycheck turned into a full time job.

Nope I do not work for associated content, nor is it the only place I write for. A culmination of all of these web sites allows me to live the dream of being a freelance writer. I began my first timid steps into the world of freelance writing at associated content.

My friend Christina shared a quote by Maya Angelou. 'If one is lucky, a solitary fantasy can totally transform one million realities.' I took a simple fantasy of making extra cash by writing into a million realities. Sometime on September 5, 2009, I took that fantasy with the help of my treasured readers and passed the two million-page view mark. I got lucky, because I kept at it.

Last October when I had been here for a year and a half, I crossed the million-page view amount. Who could have believed that the second million mark would happen in eleven months after the first million? Color me floored that was an awesome trip to the multi-millionaire status.

Kim , shared this quote "The person with 10 million is not any happier than the person with 2 million." I'll have to wait and find out. The race is on, come join me Kim.

Opher shared this quote by Diana Scharf Hunt: "Goals are dreams with deadlines." Very true, I would not have made this goal without lots of word and dedication to this writing thing. I also would not have achieved this goal without the help of so many readers.

As I look back over the few years I have been here, I come to realize all of those who have befriended me. I appreciate them all. I remember all those who have touched my heart and taught me many things along the way. All of those I have cried with laughed with and even prayed with as the nights turned into days. Charlie K is a sweetheart, who has inspired me to move on even when I felt like packing it in.
