10 Tips for Planning a CHEAP Girlfriends Getaway Weekend

Girlfriends Getaway Weekends are becoming more and more popular as more and more women realize that they NEED to get away from the daily stresses in their lives, even for just a weekend. A Girlfriends Getaway Weekend can be rejuvenating.

The thing to keep in mind when planning a Girlfriends Getaway Weekend is that the whole purpose of the weekend is to leave your worries at home. It doesn't matter where you go or what you do, as long as you do not bring your stress causers with you.

Many women, however, think that they can't afford to go on a Girlfriends Getaway Weekend. They think that Girlfriends Getaway Weekends are only for women who have high paying jobs or husbands with high paying jobs. That's because if you search "Girlfriends Getaway Weekend" on the internet you find sites advertising expensive trips for women. Choose a destination that is close enough to everyone that no one has to take a plane, train, bus or boat to get there. Your destination should be within reasonable driving distance. How far is "reasonable"? That's up to you. You will find that, if you do your research, there are plenty of places to go within a 6 hour (400 mile) radius of you. Remember that's 400 miles north, 400 south, 400 east and 400 west. That's a lot of miles and a lot of things to do within those miles!
