But although 09/09/09 is a big day in the entertainment world, some are convinced this is the end of days. In terms of apocalypse fantasies, the one where the world gets sucked into a black hole on September 9 is pretty creative.

But the world didn't end on 6/6/06, and unless something happens today, the Mayan end of the world prediction on 12/12/12 will be the last major, number-related End of Days theory left. As for 9, it will next appear as the title of the upcoming musical "Nine" in November.
