6 of the Worst TV Parents of All Time

Television is filled with parents who are a little too perfect (Ward and June Cleaver) and some who are over the top bad (Al and Peg Bundy). But there's plenty more TV moms and dads within that spectrum. These bad TV parents may not be the first ones to come to mind, but here is my list of 6 of the lesser-known worst TV moms and dads of all time. Lucky for their kids they aren't couples!

Worst TV Moms of All Time:

Endora - Bewitched (1964-1972). Samantha Stephens' mom may have thought she had her daughter's best interests at heart, but boy was she evil. Endora (Agnes Moorehead) was a mean old witch who constantly tormented her daughter and son in law with mean-spirited spells. She despised her son in law, Darrin, and did everything she could to try and split her daughter's marriage up—even going so far as to zap in a former boyfriend to tempt the happily married Samantha. Endora's nice side showed up once—when she was put under a love potion, but other than that she was one bad mama who lived to ruin her daughter's idyllic mortal existence.

Mona- Who's The Boss (1984-1992)Mona Robinson (played by Katherine Helmond) was the sex-starved mother of Angela Bower (Judith Light) on this 80's sitcom. But Mona was extremely critical of her successful daughter, often putting her down and making demeaning comments about her. With a mother like that, it's amazing Angela had any self esteem at all. The character of Mona was great comic relief on the show, but as a mother Mona was a big fat zero.
