You probably never heard of any Asian-American musicians. It wasn't for their lack of effort however. While some are trying to make it in America, others are extremely popular idols in Asia. Here's a list that spotlights ten of the many talented Asian-American musicians by showing their music videos.

Wang Lee Hom
Born in Rochester, New York, Wang Lee Hom, a Taiwanese-American, wisely decided to pursuit a music career in college. As a result, Wang Lee Hom has become one of the most popular and respected singers in all of Asia. One of his more famous songs, "Kiss Goodbye", describes the pain of being separated from the ones you loved.

Jinny Kim
Growing up in New Jersey, Korean-American Jinny Kim uses music to illustrate her own personal dilemma. After performing for different North-Eastern venues, Jinny released her debut album called "Finding Ophelia." She describes the songs in the albums as a conversation with God. The song with the same title as the album, "Finding Ophelia" is about how the world isn't exactly what she thought it'll be.

Magnetic North
Magnetic North is an Asian-American hip-hop group consisting of Chinese-American Derek Kan and Vietnamese-American Theresa Vu. Using hip-hop as a base, the group raps about social issues (mainly Asian-American issues). Although unsigned by a record company, they are an underground success. Their hit song, "Drift Away" is about the effect hip-hop has have on their lives.

Vienna Teng
Born in Saratoga, California, Vienna Teng was encouraged by her family to pursuit artistic expression early on in her life. Having four critically-acclaimed albums under her belt, Vienna performs all over the country, appearing in numerous television shows and concerts. One of her best songs, "Nothing Without You," portrays one's loneliness without the love of an unknown other.
