Ah, mothers. They love us no matter what we do. They are always there for us. They always take our side. Remember telling your mother about a teacher reprimanding you back in school, and how quickly she retorted with an angry remark about that "angry old bat" of a teacher? Well, chances are that you probably deserved that little punishment or unkind word from your teacher, but a mother usually isn't too quick to consider that. Mothers naturally tend to protect their young, especially if there really has been an occurrence where a teacher did bully one of them. These things do happen, and it can make it difficult for a mother to truly recognize when her child is that spoiled little brat that will always be hated by his/her teachers.

Takeaways
  • a common characteristic that I have seen among parents is that they are constantly making excuses..
  • a child will not learn that his actions are wrong if he is only punished sometimes.
