Larry hid with his nephews Nick and Jake in a cabin after a blood red cloud appeared. He heard about it on the news a lot. Yet there was no clue in his mind why the cloud traveled here. There was said to be two place from where it originated. Above all, it killed many people in town. He himself did not know whether he, Nick, or Jake were the only ones still alive or not. The door was looked and he wanted to keep it this way.
''Stay there, I don't want you two getting infected.''
He went to check the window, the cloud was still out there. Larry noticed it was waiting for its next victim. Yet he was determined not let to he or his nephews be affected by it. He then turned on the television set to try and get hold of some local news station. One that had news bulletin about this cloud going around. Yet when he found a channel with a newscast. Larry thought about whether or not he should have checked The Weather Channel.
''Go get the radio!''
Nick go him the radio and turned it on, yet there was not one sound, just static. Larry got out some batteries and then put them inside the radio. He turned the radio on once more, still, nothing worked. Then he looked around and the power was now out, there was no way to call for help. Of course, the way people had dropped after the cloud came. Larry did not know if they would even get help at all.
''What now?''
After he heard Nick ask this, Larry looked out the window. The cloud was right there and he was staring at it, he almost felt if the cloud stared back at him. He had no clue if this cloud would wipe them out or not. Larry just hoped they would manage to survive. Even though chances were not good, he did not give up hope. He would continue to fight this thing until he or the cloud dropped dead. Either way, he was not going to take this lying down.
