We have all been to those dinner parties. We sit down, chat with friends and then the selling begins. Whether you are looking at kitchen gadgets, lotions, make-up, or scrap book materials, the parties all have the same general theme: This is the best product out there! We listen as the sales consultant tells about the history of the company and the products they love and can't live without. There are tables of supplies to browse, and then the magazines come out. All of a sudden you feel the pressure that you have to buy something even if you don't feel like the product is worth the asking price. Is the product worth the money? The only way you can answer this question is to do a little research yourself. After going to several Creative Memories Parties I have an idea of my own!

I do believe Creative Memories has some excellent products. They are expensive, but they are exceptional. Creative Memories is the first company to offer a full-line of scrap book crafting materials. They sell paper, stickers and an array of tools. I'll cover some of the great benefits of Creative Memories in this article, as well as some products that do not stand the test of my approval!

Creative Memories has fantastic tools! Even some of the simplest tools they offer are great inventions. There is no other company that produces as innovative tools as Creative Memory has created. They are in a league of their own when it comes to providing crafting tools that will help you to create beautiful scrap books. For this reason alone, the higher prices are worth the tool products. They have a fantastic cutting system that cannot be found anywhere else. Shapes, blades and the cutting mat all work together with ease and cut beautiful shapes. Their tape runner is a favorite for many scrap bookers' as well. They have great shape punches and a handy personal paper trimmer. Their pens work smoothly and come in great packs. They offer a great sharp, precise scissors and many other simple products to help you become a better scrap booker!

I have been a consultant with Creative Memories for 11 years now and much of what you say is true. However, you missed a very important point. We have never tried to be the best paper and sticker supplier - although if you take a look at what was unveiled at our August Showcase you might be pleasantly surprised. we help people complete albums and celebrate memories, and that's not about paper and stickers. With our coordinated product bundles, power palette collections, 12x12 slide in picFolio albums, digital StoryBook albums and now Custom Framing, we can meet the needs of almost anyone, easier than ever before. I'll bet there are few people that show at only one store for anything. CM is a one stop shop for many and a source of unbeatable products for others. There is a reason that after 20 years we continue to be the #1 Scrapbooking company.

I am a Creative Memories consultant and could not agree with you more! The cutting system and other tools are fabulous-I am also not really crazy about the albums. The new digital albums are awesome! You can go to their website and dowload the free "Storybook" software. Play with your images and create a book to be printed. Use my CM ID #58353485 when ordering! Have fun with it and see what you can create! Thanks for the great article.
