The internet is a big part of almost everyone's life in this day and age. Most of us use it everyday; I for one can not live without it. Hello, I am an internet addict. I have learned quite a bit about working on the internet. My education was assisted by the fact that I work at a police station, investigation division. I have learned quite a bit about scams and how to avoid them. Fortunately I have never fallen victim to an illegal scam, just some businesses that had exaggerated numbers.

This was a definite scam; thankfully I was not on the victim end of it. Simply put, this was a mail scam. A woman wanting to make some extra money applied to ad. Her "job" was to receive packages in the mail and then address them to another address. This sounds easy enough, right? Unfortunately for her, the merchandise that she was receiving was stolen.

Another scam that I have come across was a money scam. I was curious when I saw the ad and read on just to see what it was about. The idea was that "I" would receive money into my bank account and then transfer it to another account. I wonder does the sound like a scam to anyone else. This one sounds a lot like money laundering, doesn't it.

There are still other scams in which you give them money for e-books. These e-books supposedly will tell you how to make a ton of money using their methods. Well, apparently the way they made their money was by selling you the e-book. When you come across these websites, google the information, chances are someone has already fallen victim to it and wrote a blog on it.

I do not recommend that you believe everything that you read. I could be putting you on, but I am not, like you are really going to believe that. However what I have said is completely logical if you think about. Use common sense when you come across something. If it looks too good to be true, then chances are it is too good to be true. The best thing to remember is to do your research on a website, and then way the pros and cons before you buy into what they are trying to sell you. Listen to what other people tell you about a website, but in the end rely on your own judgment.

I have seen the ugly side of WAH internet jobs, nothing illegal thankfully. Scams suck.
