Learning Bengali Through English Language

An organisation named "Engrezi Bhasay Bangla Shikkha Karzakram" (Learning Bengali through English language) has urged the people to know other languages alongside the mother tongue on the occasion of the Valentine's Day.The slogan of the organisation this year is "Shokolei Bhasa Bhalobase" (Every one loves language). Noted poet Samudra Gupta who is the advisor of the 'Bengali Language learning programme' composed the slogan.
Notably, February 14 is the Valentine's Day.
"Pay homage to your own language. Through respecting own language and knowing, loving other languages the Valentines Day might be observed," urged Ali Niyamat, the president of the organisation and also the founding editor of the 'Alumni News' of the English Department of Dhaka University Sunday.
