HP Photosmart C6380 inkjet printer review
HP Photosmart C6380 is available in a silver and white body that looks sleek and stylish. Photosmart C6380 comes with several adapters including USB, Wi-Fi and ethernet. There is no inbuilt Bluetooth adapter but you can buy it separately. The control panel of the C6380 stretches along the upper front of the body. The control panel has a 2.4 inch LCD screen which makes accessing the menus a really easy task. The function buttons that perform different tasks such as scanning, copying and editing clearly labeled. The Photosmart C6380 also includes on-screen preview and crop features for the copy function.
The Photosmart C6380 comes with an input tray that can stack up to 125 sheets. There is a sliding width guide but the length guide is missing. The C6380 includes a smaller tray for small photo media that can stack up to 20 sheets. The input trays have a lid that also functions as the output tray. The output trays have a robust pull-out extension and can stack up to 50 sheets at a time.
The performance of the HP Photosmart C6380 is reasonably good. It can print up to 11 pages per minute for text pages and about three pages per minute for color graphics which is decent when you compare it with similar products available in the market. The print quality is average with the text appearing slightly fuzzy and the photos appearing a bit darker. The print quality is better if you use HP's paper for printing.
The cost of running HP Photosmart C6380 is not exorbitant. The printer ships with five ink tanks fitted into a permanent printhead : 250 page black (K) and 300 page Cyan (C), Magenta(M) and Yellow (Y). The fifth color in the printhead is "photo black". The replacements for the Photosmart C6380 are not expensive but it is better to buy the high yield replacements.

Pass-Through Scanners are devices that accept pages of text or photographs, and scan them in a similar fashion to a printer taking on paper. The scan is quicker, and the device can do up to about 50 pages in a row without user assistance.
