El Toro Mexican Restaurant located in Clarksville Tennessee offers one of the area's only Mexican buffets. The restaurant, located on Fort Campbell Boulevard, provides a great family atmosphere. Each time we visit I order the Mixed Fajitas, this is a mix of chicken and beef with red and green bell peppers, onions and tomatoes, it is served with a salad plate which includes pico, guacamole, rice and refried beans. My children each order from the children's menu, usually getting the kids quesadilla. My husband is a huge fan of the buffet. The buffet boasts of many fresh entrees and desserts. There is no need for reservations, though on the weekends it can become quite busy. I would advise arriving early to ensure that you don't have to wait to be seated. The parking area can be a difficult obstacle to overcome, approximately 20 prime spaces, once they are full you will need to park either behind the restaurant or near the adjoining business propertyThe restaurant plays authentic Mexican music and has a Mexican décor, complete with bull horns hanging above the doorway. A sombrero hangs on the wall, as well as many signed paintings. A fountain in the center of the foyer provides a relaxing ambiance. The outside of the building is brick with a design of a Mexico map made indo the building. The service is great, always a smile and quick and courteous service. The menu has numerous options, but each time we go we all order the same thing. I suppose our thoughts are, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." The cost for the buffet is around $8.00 for an adult and the fajitas run about $10.00. The meal is well worth the money! Each time we leave we are stuffed and feeling guilty that we've eaten so much.
