I love finding free recipes online and I have looked at a lot of sites. There are tons of sites that offer free recipes but I found that a lot of them had an alter motive, full of so many ads and the recipes were either few or in terrible format. Here are four websites that you will find great free recipes on.

All Recipes

You can view all the recipes and they are free but you can choose to be a member of the site, for free, and save recipes that you want to refer back to. If you find a recipe that you think a friend or family member would like you can send them an e-card of it. The site gives you the option to print the in 3x5 and 4x6 if you like. The recipes have picture and reviews so it is easy to determine if you are going to want to make something. You can convert recipes to custom fit the amount of servings that you need to make and can view the nutritional value of the dish as well.

Recipe Zaar

Navigating through this site is incredibly easy with their bulletin menu format. One thing that I just think is really awesome about this free recipe site is their recipe sifter. If I don't want to see recipes with something I can sift through categories, ingredients and nutritional criteria. So I can find recipes that are high in iron and ones that don't contain meat. Something else that makes it easy to find a recipe is I can sort the recipes by the date they were posted, their rating, photos, the time it take to make them and alphabetically. If I see a recipe that I like I can print it, save it, if I was a member which is free, or email to a friend.

Food Network

If you like to watch The Food Network you will likely enjoy finding free recipes from their website. You can sort the recipes by rating, difficulty in making, chef that made them or by the show that they were featured on. The site offers you multiple printing options, the ability to email the recipe to a friend or save it, if you sign up with them for free.

Great article. I will have to visit these websites. Lol, my boyfriend always says I should learn to cook something new. We have the save five things over and over again, unless he cooks.
