Archie's Family Restaurant: A Great 24 Hour Diner in Davison, Michigan

The city of Davison, Michigan has a diner were everyone knows your name. Archie's Restaurant has been a Davison establishment for over 40 years. They've been known for a long time for their friendly wait staff, atmosphere, and being open for 24 hours.

Archie's boasts an impressive menu of food. They offer everything from steak, nachos, spaghetti, desserts, burgers, and breakfast. For the most part the food is exceptional and decently priced. The prices have gone up over the last few years but that's to be expected. The key is to know what to order. Ordering a steak from Archie's would be a terrible decision. If you want steak go down the street to Lucky's and order one.

The best foods at Archie's are the burgers and the breakfast foods. The burgers are huge and are cooked to perfection. I would say they have the best burgers in town. Of the burgers I would choose the Hickory Bacon Burger. It is one of the largest burgers and the crispy bacon makes the sandwich great. The breakfasts at Archie's are very good at any time. If you are going to get a breakfast I would recommend an omelet. They are nice and filling. Make sure to get hash browns with an omelet. Archie's has phenomenal hash browns.

They also have really good coffee. No other restaurant can touch their coffee. The newest thing is their flavored creamers. With flavors like hazelnut, Irish creme, and French vanilla, everyone can find something they like.

The wait staff is incredibly friendly. They treat you as if you were a guest in their home. The wait staff is really experienced too. Usually an Archie's waitress will be there for years and years. I really like this because you get to form a bond with the wait staff. I know the late night wait staff really well and they take care of me when I am there.

Archie's has a great atmosphere. Everyone is incredibly friendly and laid back. The regulars there are very nice and everyone there is very approachable.

The restaurant is open 24 hours and this is what really separates Archie's from the rest. It is a great place to hang out late at night and have a coffee. It's a great hangout spot for teens. They can get together, eat, and have a good, safe time.
