A Look at the Top of Each Position in the NFL Draft

Many have said that the wide receiver crop in the 2007 NFL Draft pool is one of the deeper positions in this draft. This could be very good, because it's always important to give your quarterback good targets to throw to. For some teams, receiver depth is very important. Often times, you want a good
group of receivers, not just one great receiver. When you look at teams that have been successful, like the current Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts, they have good depth at the position. You don't need a huge name, but those middle receivers are definitely very important to a team's success.

The top receivers in this year's draft have plenty of talent that many teams covet. On top of most lists, not just for receiver but in overall talent, is Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech. He's wowed so many scouts who believe that he could be the closest thing to a sure thing that has hit the NFL Draft is the past few seasons. There are elite receivers from some of the top college teams in the nation, but will they be looked at by teams in the NFL? Who will go near the top and who will fall down the draft board?
