Top Ten Sleeper Wide Receivers (WRs) in Fantasy Football 2009 for Week 2

2
Well folks, week 1 for the 2009 NFL season is officially over, and what a week it was. The wide receivers brought delight and disappoint this past week. More than a few second and third rounders did absolutely nothing. Andre Johnson and Roddy White were among those who would rather forget last week. Meanwhile Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, and Greg Jennings lived up to their respected high picks. I would say this week was crazy but the same thing happens every year, it's kind of like reconciliation for all those months of drafting.

This reconciliation, will give us a more realistic look at week 2. For the record if you read my articles then you know I named both Devin Hester and Nate Burleson as sleepers. Other picks I had that turned out decent were Chad Ochocinco and DeSean Jackson. Not too bad considering 4 out of 10 picks were above average. I did stink up the house with my Bernard Berrian and Anquan Boldin picks which weren't really sleepers but I thought had a decent shot a putting up good numbers, which of course they didn't.

That leads us to this week's pick. And by all means if you like my advice and like what I'm saying then spread the word and subscribe to my articles. A little teaser stat for you, I went 12-6 in my fanball.com leagues this past week. 2 of those losses were by less than 5 points. So I might not be the next coming of Matthew Berry but I do put out sound advice...

1) Percy Harvin - This is Brett Favre's week to shine and in order to do that he's gonna need a decent receiver. Sure he's got Bernard Berrian back and Sidney Rice. But I think old Favre has taken a liking to Harvin and you'll see nice breakout performance both on the ground and in the air.

  • 6) Donnie Avery - Call me crazy but I think the Skins aren't all there. I think
  • 9) Santana Moss - I got burned for picking him last week. Well the good thing is Moss
  • 3) DeSean Jackson - This guy is legit and is consistently a threat. No matter
