Bionicles, made by Lego, are building kits that help kids create battle robots. The Bionicle characters are featured in a series of books and movies. Here are free printable Lego Bionicle coloring activities. The Bioicles exist in a country called Mata Nui. Bionicle names primarily begin with Toa and include characters like: Taku, Tahu, Makuta, Gali, Lewa, Turaga, Nakoma, Pohatu and others. Children must build the Bionicles following a fairly complicated pattern. As with all Lego products, the Bionicle toys are well made and a good investment for your toy buying dollar. Bionicle fans can print posters, puzzles and coloring pages featuring their favorite Bionicle and Lego characters, using these websites.

Bionicle.lego.com (click here) has sixteen free printable Bionicle posters. Six different posters feature a Bionicle zone with appropriate Bionicle: Water, Rock, Ice, Jungle, Fire and Matu Nui. The other posters feature different Bionicles alone or in a battle scene. There is also a map of Bara Magna. To access the posters from the main webpage, go to Bionicles.lego.com and click 'Downloads' on the home page. From that option click 'Posters'. To make these posters into detailed coloring pages, click 'Preferences' on the printer menu box that opens. Select the 'Color' tab from the top menu. On the Color window, select 'Print in Gray Scale' and then using the radio button select 'high quality' or 'black ink cartridge only'. Selecting 'Black ink cartridge only' gives you a nice, clear image to color and uses less printer ink. Color the poster as you would a lined coloring pages, using your crayons or colored pencils to shade as well as color. Using coloring pages in this way gives you more options about how you want you Bionicles to look.
