In August of this year, thousands of Bon Jovi fans will drop their hard earned money for action figures. McFarlane Toys will be introducing figures of singer Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora.

While the actual date of the release of the figures has still been unreleased, hundreds of stores are reporting that they will be accepting preorders for the pair of figures. Lines should be expected to be long in some areas in New Jersey on the soon to be announced date of release.

The figures will be available for sale in many stores across the United States and Canada. Fans will also be able to purchase the figures from the Bon Jovi Official Website at

http://www7.islandrecords.com/bonjovi/home.las.

Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora will be joining a short list of musicians that have been made into figures by McFarlane Toys. This list includes the groups KISS, Metallica, and Motley Crue. Single figures have included Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne, and Janis Joplin.

It is expected by many market annalists that believe that the Jon Bon Jovi figure will sell out within a very short period. Many of the fans of Bon Jovi are very fanatical about their favorite group.

According to the McFarlane Toys website, the pair were chosen for representation in action figure form was because of the legacy of the group. With a successful career that has spanned three decades puts Bon Jovi on a very short list of groups that have made history in the music industry.

The site states that the evolution of the group has caused them to bridge generation gaps. Bon Jovi is an, "undeniable force in American rock music."

The Jon Bon Jovi figure will display him with a microphone stand and a guitar across his back. The Sambora figure will include his famous, "double barrel." Both of the figures will include a stand that looks like a stage piece, and will be six inches in height.

As with all McFarlane figure, both the Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora figures will be highly detailed. The figures were both approved by the world famous musicians that they represent.

Oh yeah... The action figures aren't that impressive. I was hoping MacFarlane will do a great job on recreating the boys like they did with Kurt Cobain's figure (KC's figure looks awesome, imo). But I'm very disappointed in how Bon Jovi's versions turned out. For one, John's hair looks like barf. and his face is messed up too. The rest of his body is fine, and I love the detail of his guitar. I understand that his hair is hard to paint (I can imagine the agony of trying to do the same for David Bryan's crazy curly locks). Richie's figure is heckuva lot better than his bandmate's figure, but I'm still not that impressed with his face. But to be honest, he still looks good. You can't get enough of his pose either, it fits him perfectly. If I had to choose, I'll definitely buy the Richie figure. I rather make my own John figure and put in a lot of time and effort to make it perfect. His figure is so disappointing.

ROTFLMAO. Fangirls. Dude, it's obvious. There's no way you can actually take the flesh and blood human band members home, it's obvious that "take [insert band name here] home" usually means some random merchandise. get a life.

I was wondering how this was gonna happen, but I really think I outgrew wanting to take Bon Jovi home (action figure or not)
