Why the Bellagio Fountains Are Considered One of the Best Free Attractions in Las Vegas
The Bellagio Fountains have long been considered to be one of the best free attractions in all of Las Vegas. There are many friends and readers that contact me to see if I think that it is worth the time to see the Fountains at Bellagio. I have always said yes, and this is why.
For those of you that do not know, the Bellagio Fountains start going off at 3:00pm during the week, and at noon on the weekend. From the start time until 8:00pm, the Fountains at Bellagio of off every half an hour, and then every fifteen minutes after 8:00pm. There are multiple shows that rotate randomly, so if you stay for an entire hour at night, you are guaranteed to see at least a few different showings of what the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas can do.
Every time, I am in Las Vegas, I always make sure that I see at least two or three of the Bellagio Fountain shows. The Fountains at Bellagio are a great distraction from all of the constant action that Las Vegas will expose you to. Watching the water blast over twenty stories in the air, the 4,500 lights going off, and hearing the relaxing music can be almost surreal in the off-kilter environment of Las Vegas.
If the day is extremely hot, I love to stop by the Bellagio Fountains to be cooled off by the mist. That spring-like mist can help to reinvigorate you as many of your fluids are sweated away by the hot Las Vegas sun. For this reason alone, I suggest heading over to the Fountains at the Bellagio.
Unlike many of the other free Las Vegas attractions, the Fountains at Bellagio are never overly-crowded. Since they go off every fifteen minutes in the evening, everyone has a good chance to see them. Plus, many people will line up across the street to see the Bellagio Fountains. There is a large span of area in which you can see the Bellagio Fountain show, so you don't have to worry about being right on top of someone.
