Halloween Guide to Horror Movie Watching in Denver
Halloween is the time of year when many people like to watch as many horror movies as possible. If you are a horror movie fan, whether year around or only during the months of September and October and you're looking for scary movie events in the Denver, Colorado area, this guide gives you information about some theaters that offer some very terrific horror movies.
Mile High Horrors
Mile High Horror consists of a group of 117 horror movie fans who meet up and attend horror movie viewings together and participate in other horror related events. On October 24, 2009 beginning at 5:15 pm, they will be having their 4th annual "Zombie Walk." More information about the event will be posted on eyeheartbrains.com as it becomes available.
Starz Denver Film Festival
Admission to the film "Cadaver," which will be held Friday & Saturday September 25 & 26 at 10pm, at the Denver Film Society, 900 Auraria Parkway, is $6.50 for members, $9.50 for non-members and students and seniors $7. Located at 500 16th Street, Suite 310, in Denver, this movie theater is currently showing "The Final Destination", number four of the movie about people who were supposed to die in some type of accident and they are trying to figure out a way to cheat death. Critics aren't giving the movie high reviews, but moviegoers are, so you should certainly check it out if you're a horror movie fan as well as a fan of the other three movies.
