Finding an Assisted Living Facility

Recently I took on the task of researching assisted living facilities in my area. My objective was to find out what was involved in making arrangements for a loved one to stay in an assisted living facility.

My mom passed recently and my father mentioned something about selling the house and going in to a home. This was a step I believed he did not need to take at this time; after all he is independent and healthy. He did not require skilled care that you expect when you think of a nursing home. Most assisted living facilities have independent living section and many of them have Alzheimer's units.
