E!'s "Live from the Red Carpet" Gave Viewers a Look at 2009 Emmy Fashion Trends

Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic hosted "Live From The Red Carpet", the E! network's 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards fashion and red carpet interview show. During E!'s 2009 Emmy coverage, Seacrest and Rancic talked with dozens of stars who were at the event to present or compete for awards. Celebrities like Leighton Meester, Mariska Hargitay, Kyra Sedgwick, Heidi Klum and Seth MacFarlane were interviewed on their Emmy fashion choices by the E! hosts, who posted up at different spots on the 2009 Emmy Awards gauntlet. Seacrest, who showed his 2009 Emmy fashion sense by wearing a Burberry tuxedo, intercepted and spoke with celebrities such as Seal and Heidi Klum, who was wearing a stunning, black strapless Markesa gown with long, shoulder-sweeping earrings. Seacrest also spoke with "Samantha Who?" star Christina Applegate, who dazzled in a midnight-blue gown with black sequin detail and a deep, asymmetrical "V" back, fashioned by Lebanese designer Basil Soda,

Jennifer Love Hewitt, the original "Ghost Whisperer", looked lovely in pale yellow. Hewitt chose a Max Azria gown for the 2009 Emmy's, which featured a shimmering, sweetheart neckline and bodice, and a soft, form-fitting yet flowing skirt. Hewitt carried a gold-toned clutch handbag and was attending the 2009 Emmy Awards with comedian Jamie Kennedy, who wore a straight, black necktie with an unbuttoned tuxedo jacket by designer Reece.

Andy Samburg, of "Saturday Night Live", sported slightly messy tresses and a simple, black tuxedo with a small, straight cut bow tie. LL Cool J made his 2009 Emmy fashion statement in a tux, which he accessorized with a black golf cap, bow tie and pocket square.
