The MermaidLast evening I was walking at the beach
when I spotted something moving
in water up and down with the waves
I stopped and stared at the mysterious
Happeniing----a happening I had never
Sighted before, The mysterious thing
Was floating with the rippling waves
hiding its real form in the surf when
I could suddenly figure out that something
like the head of a human being was tossing
around in the sea. I gazed closely at it and
soon noticed that it was indeed the head of a human
being but not that of a man but a woman!
Her long beautiful hair had become more wavy
with the undulating motion of the waves
proceeding toward the beach. Overjoyed with the sight
I walked toward the 'thing' ,,,,and to my surprise
the feminine head of that feminine 'thing' was not
Alone but attached to a bust like no bust have i seen
A bust protruding out in two pears the pointed end
of which like marbles of black grape rendered into
currants spreading their magic around and soothing
My thirsty eyes which became more and unbearably thirsty
having found a thirst-quenching spout at arms length.
Impatiently I walked toward that glistening aquatic bust
and only added to my surprise when the bust was tossed
Up by a strong wave and unrevealed her naval ,,,,a naval like no
naval had been. From it spread the redolence of musk and
ambergress or a mixture of fragrance that never had existed on
Earth before. Anxious as I was, I leapt toward the feminine frame
And embraced her in my arms tightly and as my hands
surveyed the contour of her enchanting body and my lips
wriggled to caress the black currants glittering like diamond
buttons I suddenly felt that she felt like something different
at the lumber region. Wondering what was that we both
gripped in a tight embrace were thrown by the forcing current
on to the shore. To my horror and amazement that feminine
form was half woman and half fish. Yes she was a mermaid!
Regaining myself I separated from her and looked into her eyes
The poor mermaid was weeping and every tear which fell
from her eyes was bubbling with the same complaint: Oh, god,
how did I wrong you to be punished and sent into the oceans
Half woman half fish,,,,,,,,, did you run short of the little clay while
creating me?
