At 24 years old, I had never been to a Hooter's restaraunt. For some reason, when I thought of Hooter's I thought of a place for drunk men to go with their friends. I never imagined that they are supposedly a restaraunt that the entire family can enjoy. So, just last week my husband took our family to the Hooter's restaraunt in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our family consists of my husband, our two year old son, our six month old son and myself. We were also there with my husband's brother and his wife.

Upon walking in to the restaraunt, I was amazed. I knew that they waitresses wore skimpy shirts. I knew the waitresses had orange shorts on. However, I did not know that these shorts allowed their butt cheeks to hang out. I almost left because I did not think it was appropriate for my children to be in the environemnt we were in. However, we were already there and I wanted to see what the entire Hooter's experience was all about.

The hostess of the restaraunt was very nice and sat us quickly. A cute waitress "bopped" over to the table and greeted us kindly. She took our drink orders and then came back with them. Because I had never been to Hooter's before, I was not aware of what was on the menu. I thought all they had was wings and burgers. I was surprised when they offered us a children's menu. Do people seriously bring thier kids in here after seeing this environment? After looking a the menu, I ordered a cheeseburger and my husband ordered a hot dog. Our son also ordered a hot dog. Frendch fries came with the hot dogs, but not with the cheeseburger. I had to pay an additional $2.69 for an order of french fries. The food was reasonably priced otherwise. Our food came out firly quickly and it was good. I needed ranch dressing for my french fries and was informed that we would have to pay $.69 for a small container of ranch dressing. I began to wonder if I had pay to use the ketchup that was on the table!

Don't you want your kids to be straight? And why would you order ranch for your fries? The first time I went to Hooters was a first to remember.
