Not Happy With the Website Design You Paid For?

You just spent a few hundred dollars on having a website built for your new business, only to find that is is not really the way you want it. Usually since you have already paid for it you end up thinking that it is a really bad idea. It will then usually take you several hours to find out how to add an change the content or links on your site. And for those that have no experience it will usually take a lot longer. 

The first thing you need to ask yourself is, did you tell the designer exactly what you wanted for the design? If you specifically told them what you wanted and they did not follow it, or possibly they made a mistake the designer may be willing to fix it to your specifications. Any good designer would be willing to work with you. You should have a contract with the website designer or some type of agreement. Take a look at what you put into your agreement and contact the designer immediately. Also any good website designer will let you look at the site before it is actually up and running. 

There are many problems that can arise for your business if you spend a lot of money on a site that is not done correctly. This is why it is important to make sure that you have a contract before the designer even begins. It will end up delaying your business start up and may end up costing you more money if you fail to get the proper agreement. If you do not have a contract or a signed agreement, then check all the emails that were sent between the two of you. If you specified in any email a particular design or templates then you should be able to get it changed without paying any extra.
