Benefit Dear John Moisturizer

I have been intrigued by Benefit's products for a very long time. There's just something about them that draws me over to the counter to look at, read and try everything I can. Maybe it's the attractive packages, maybe it's the bright colors, or maybe it's the funky names they come up with. I don't know, but what I do know is that I finally gave in and decided to try one of their popular facial moisturizers, Dear John.Dear John facial cream is described by Benefit this way " Dear John has it all...brains and beauty. The brains: sodium hyaluronate and sodium PCA to keep the skin cells moisturized and Vitamin E and Provitamin B5 to protect and promote healthy skin. The beauty: a lightweight silky texture with cucumber extracts to help soothe and refresh. Forget wimpy moisturizers that can't commit..Dear John delivers day & night. "
Dear John comes in a heavy, clear glass jar with a pink metal screw on lid. The product comes in one size, 2 oz.
I was very pleased with the Dear John moisturizer when I got it home and tried it. The cream is pure white with little to no scent. The scent it has is a fresh, cirtrus-y smell. It's a thick moisturizer cream, but it's not too heavy. More importantly it's not at all greasy, which is what concerns me most when it comes to thicker creams. After I used it for the first time my skin was not only moisturized but it felt supple and smooth. It absorbed into my skin quickly and easily.
I noticed that at the end of the day my face would still be moisturized from my morning application. This moisturizer had moisture that lasted and my skin stayed soft! I would reapply Dear John after washing my face in the evening to keep my skin smooth and soft throughout the night.
