9 Things to Think About Nine Months Later: Sorting Pregnancy Items

You May Decide to Pack Up Some of Your Pregnancy Items After Your Baby is Born

Packing up the items that you want to keep from when you were pregnant can be a little sad, but it doesn't mean that you aren't going to one day pull them out again.

1. Nine Month Later, Do You Need Pregnancy Books, Movies & Magazines?
Some of the pregnancy books, movies or magazines that you read and watched during your pregnancy may have some helpful information for the first months or even first year with your baby. When this is the case there is no reason to pack them away, but if the extension of the information that they offered ended at birth you should pack them away if you know that you are going to read or watch them again and if not then donate them or give them a friend or family member that is having a baby.

2. Nine Month Later, Do You Need Your Belly Support?
It will be unlikely that if you needed a belly support while you were pregnant that you will be needing it much longer after you give birth. Once you feel comfortable not wearing it you can decide if it is something that you want to keep and have for the next time that you are pregnant or if you would rather discard it.

3. Nine Month Later, Do You Need A Pregnancy Heart Monitor?
You may have had a monitor that you could use to hear your baby's heartbeat. There is no reason to keep this out and if you think that you will want it for the next time that you have a baby you can pack it away or give it to someone who is pregnant if you don't think that you will want to have it the next time around, that is if you feel that there is going to be a next time around.

4. Nine Month Later, Do You Need Your Belly Art and Belly Cast Kit
If you have leftovers of either belly art or a belly cast kit you will want to see if the packaging has a date that the materials will longer be good. There is no point in keeping something that is going to be dried up by the time you are going to be using it again. If you think that you know someone who could use it giving it away is better than throwing it away.
