We use words every day. At times we take care in how we express ourselves but more often than not, our words escape our lips without much thought before we speak. This is part of human nature. We speak from an emotional standpoint as well as a mental one. When our words hurt another, whether intentional or not, we don't often realize that we hurt ourselves as well. Everything does come full circle. Consider your thoughts for a moment. How easy is it to say one thing and think another? It's pretty easy, isn't it? In fact, we all do it at least occasionally. Imagine what it would be like if everyone could read minds. We would all know what each other is thinking. Would you try to control your thoughts a little more then? We probably all would.

Even though people can't read each other's minds we should still try to control our thoughts because they do affect ourselves and others more than most of us realize. What we think and believe shape our lives in ways we have only just begun to comprehend. It is believed that God spoke all of creation into existence. Someone once said that perhaps we are but thoughts in the mind of God. Perhaps we are. Everything is energy. We are energy. Our thoughts are energy. We can't exactly define the makeup of God who may also very well be energy. Through that same energy we are all interconnected.

The concepts of positive thinking and creative visualization are very appealing. Some people believe; others aren't sure what to believe and then there are those like myself who prefer to analyze. But as someone once pointed out answers are usually right under our noses and the most perplexing questions may have the simplest answers. The answer here may very well be found in the key word of belief. It seems reasonable to assume that the power behind any belief is the belief itself. We know very little about the human mind.

Takeaways
  • The mind is like a factory full of thoughts and beliefs.
  • It seems reasonable to assume that the power behind any belief is the belief itself.
  • Someone once said that perhaps we are but thoughts in the mind of God.
Did You Know?
Until we better understand our own minds we cannot even be certain what level of potential the human mind is capable of achieving.
