Cinnamon has a pleasant taste usually but it can be strong as a tea. If you are not use to cinnamon you may want to try it in a lesser dose.
When you eat cinnamon in your food you are actually giving your body a little boost. Cinnamon stimulates the organs in your body since cinnamon is a carminative, that is, it can remove gas from your intestinal tract. If you have trouble with gas pain you may benefit from adding cinnamon to your diet. Cinnamon can be added to many things we eat. Cakes, doughnuts and cookies taste good with some cinnamon in them. Oatmeal is a good breakfast food to put some cinnamon in. You can even add cinnamon to sweet breads. Cinnamon has a spicy flavor that tastes better in sweeter foods.
The scent of cinnamon is very powerful and pleasant. It can be used as a pleasant aroma in your home. Cinnamon in a closet or drawer can give your items a fresh scent. You can even boil some cinnamon to add a good fragrance to the air in your home.
Cinnamon can be purchased in a grocery store in the spice area. You can buy cinnamon in a ground form you in a stick. When you buy cinnamon in a stick form you can use the cinnamon stick to stir hot chocolate, tea or apple cider. Using a cinnamon stick to stir a drink can add a hint of cinnamon flavor to what ever you are drinking.
