I always love reading the "best" and "worst" movies lists, so was thrilled today to see Rotten Tomatoes had just released their "Worst of the Worst" movies list. What they and their readers consider are the absolute worst movies released in the last decade - from 2000 to 2009. Now, I don't always agree with the ratings of movies on Rotten Tomatoes. Some of the worst rated movies, I've really enjoyed. But, on this list of the "Worst of the Worst" of the last decade, it looks like there's no room whatsoever for disagreement. In fact, according to the comments of most people who rated these bad movies, a lot of them had no redeeming qualities at all. For the full list, head over to the Rotten Tomatoes website but, for some of the movies in their Top 10 worst movies of the last decade (plus my comments!), read on.

10. Witless Protection - I've never heard of this movie but, for the terrible title alone, I would probably have given it a miss. Starring Larry the Cable Guy (who?) and Ivana Milicevic, it involves a small-town sheriff, the FBI and a some sort of witness protection program. Given a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes 'Tomatometer', with an average rating of 1.8/10, you can easily understand what people really thought about it. As for me, I'm still in shock there's actually an actor called Larry the Cable Guy?

9. Redline - Starring Nathan Phillips, Nadia Bjorlin, Angus Macfadyen (again, who?), this is supposed to be a action-thriller, but looks like its nothing more than an excuse to film lots of luxury vehicles, and some half naked girls. Even the movie poster looks stereotypically 'actiony' and unimaginative. With a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes and 2.2/10 rating, it's easy to see how this came in at number 9.
