Although it may be the last process when you're buying a car, it's the first thing others will see. Picking the right paint for your car is important; the right colours can enhance a car to the point that everyone can't help but notice and wish they're driving it! On the other hand, horrible choice of colour can end up as a disaster.

There are many colours and varieties you can choose. Some are plain hue; whereas, others have a metallic lust to it. There are almost any colour you can imagine - all the way from neutral to the warm or cool colours. You can go almost any way you want especially since there are no rules in this game. There are, however, a couple of things you want to consider before choosing the colours.

Personality

The colour of your car should really suit your personality. When people see your car, they should think it suits you - not completely opposite of you (unless that's what you're aiming at). Colours can reflect your personality and character whether it's bold or sophisticated.

Price

Depending on the function your car will be having, you may want to consider the price of the paint. If you're going to invest in an expensive paint, you have to be sure that you won't be scratching the paint or bumping into anything any time soon as getting your car repainted or a spot retouched can cost quite a lot. The paint isn't a one time cost. It's really easy to scratch of paint when driving or having others brush up on your car with sharp objects accidentally. If you don't want a tacky, old looking car, you'll be forced into getting it retouched or repainted - either way, it'll end up costing you.

Design

Some people choose to add designs to the exterior of the car along with the paint. Personally, I think that flames are out-of-date, and tacky (definitely not within my recommendations); however, a good design can bring out a different side to your car, and make it even more unique compared to the other cars driving by.
