Sacramento is the capital of California, though it's not the capital of romance. There is the expensive nice restaurants that can be good for dates, but when it comes to candle light and live music to fill the theme of romance, you're usually going to have to do a little research. It's true that what is considered romantic for a restaurant in Sacramento, is usually a pretty nice place but there aren't very many love themed ones. The Delta King is a boat on the Sacramento River that couples can go to stay the night in, or eat at the restaurant and look up at the clear night sky while dining in candlelight with the one you're with. They also have a dinner theater you can go to eat dinner and watch a live play, or a murder mystery where every body plays along in a game where everybody tries to discover who the "murderer" is. If you're a wine drinker, then you would enjoy their extensive wine list on their menu. Dinner under moonlight on the river, live entertainment and being able to stay the night on the boat? What else could you ask for.
Slocum House is located in Fair Oaks, but it's been raved by couples to be one of the best amorous restaurants they have ever been too. In fact, they have actually won the award of being the most romantic restaurant in Sacramento. They even have weddings there. All of there entrees come with freshly baked bread and salads, and all of the tables have candle light. Their entrees are mostly consisted of gourmet meat such as crab and steak. With all of the delicious food and romantic atmosphere, you'll never want to leave.
