Sometimes when there is something or someone in a room, it might be a good idea to put a night light in that room. 1. Nursing and Pregnant Moms
If you are a nursing mom or you are pregnant you will want to add a night light to your list of things to get. When you wake up in the middle of the night, not having to roll over to turn on a lamp illuminating the room can really be nice. A night light will allow you to get to your baby's side quicker and safer.
2. Co-Sleeping Family
When you have a child in the room during night time you will want to have a night light so if the child wakes up you can comfort them easier and keep the room dim to help everyone fall back asleep easier.
3. Bedsharing Family
When you share a bed with your child or children a night light helps if anyone wakes up or if you need to reposition yourself because you will be able to do so without disturbing the other people in the bed.
4. Phones
If you get phone calls in the night or you have a phone by your bedside having a night light can help you get to the ringing phone easier. This may be a troubling event and it helps if while you are half asleep that you won't have to fumble to find a light switch.
5. Toilets
The bathroom is an ideal place to have a night light because if anyone has to go pee in the middle of the night, an event that is going to be somewhat awakening anyway, they won't have to turn on a bunch of lights only waking themselves up even more.
6. Young Children
When a room is housing young children during nighttime a night light can be very comforting to them.
7. Parents of Young Children
If you have a young child that wakes up on occasion you may want to have a night light in your room so if you hear that your child needs you to come into their bedroom you'll be able to leave your bedroom quickly and safely.
8. People Who Need To Sleep Light
Having a night light on may make you sleep a little lighter, but if this is something that you need then by using a night light you'll be able to do so.
