Are you dying for a country fried steak as big as your plate? How about a mouth watering cheeseburger with a huge pile of curly fries? Everything is delicious and well priced for the amount of food you get at Silverado's in Piqua, Kansas. The staff are friendly and you can really enjoy the atmosphere of rural Kansas here. The menu is traditional American food, and there is no way you will walk out hungry. Many drive right by Piqua, Kansas not knowing something so good is hidden there. South east Kansas has many great little restaurants and this is one of them.
Silverado's in Piqua, Kansas is not a meal you want to miss. Just a short trip west of Iola, Kansas will lead you to the small town of Piqua, Kansas (pronounced pick-way). The only way you will know you are there is by the silos on the north side of the highway. Turn north right after the silos and go to the stop sign. To your right you will see Silverado's. The building is by no means large, and seating is limited but that only adds to the appeal of this well hidden gem. It is somewhere you feel as though you can relax and enjoy yourself and I am sure many do.
On my visit I ordered a cheeseburger. I chose to have curly fries with mine, and had to share them because I simply could not eat them all. My cheeseburger was great and it tasted as though it was made fresh to order. Our waitress was very nice and did a wonderful job. Another person who was with me ordered a country fried steak. It was quite possibly the biggest I have ever personally seen. Everyone that I have ever known to visit has completely enjoyed whatever they ordered and highly suggest going to Silverado's. I could not find a listing of when they were open, so you may want to call to be sure they are open. Often small businesses in this area do not have set hours.

I have been to the Silverado Resturant in Piqua and have to agreed the food is great. I had a locker cut filet that was excellent, baked potatoe, cottage cheese and a salad. I definetly was full when I left. I would highly recommend visiting the Silverado.
