Food Product Review - SoyJoy Nutrition Bars Aren't Fit for Human Consumption

Don't Waste Your Money on This Terrible Tasting Snack Food

Many of you have probably watched the commercial offering three free SoyJoy Bars. All you have to do is go to their website, or google SoyJoy bars, fill out a form, and your free SoyJoy Bars will be sent to you, postage free. But
take my advice. They're not worth your trouble. The SoyJoy Bars you'll receive aren't fit for human consumption.

The SoyJoy Nutrition Bars are touted as a whole new kind of nutrition bar made from natural ingredients, like dried apples, raisins, mangos and berries mixed with whole soy that hasn't been genetically engineered. Yes, I have to agree that sounds very good. I filled out the form for the SoyJoy Bars and about three weeks later they arrived at my house. Oh, how excited I was! Everyone loves to receive free goodies, and I'm no exception. And something to eat too!

I eagerly opened up the box and was overjoyed to see my three free SoyJoy bars inside. There were threel different flavors; Apple, Raisin Almond and Berry. I didn't know which one to try first, so I closed my eyes and randomly picked one out of the box. Eagerly, I ripped open the wrapper of the chosen bar, The Berry SoyJoy bar. Inside the wrapper was a very dense, dark-colored oblong brick. Was this actually the SoyJoy bar? I was also overwhelmed by the smell of molasses, and it looked and smelled like something that had been in my refrigerator for at least six months. But I was still very optimistic. After all, these were my free SoyJoy bars, and they had to be good! Why else would they send out free samples to anyone who wants them?

Gingerly, I took a bite of the SoyJoy Berry Bar and immediately my feeling of joyful glee changed into one of disgust. The bar tasted like dirt! It did have the slightest hint of berry but this was overpowered by the taste of rank old dirt. Who would buy such a disgustingly tasting snack bar? I shook my head and immediately threw it in the trash.

My whole family was given free soyjoy samples at a street fair. We all tooks bites and spit the crap out. I regretted not having some strong Listerine mouthwash. To all the soyjoy fans: save money - don't buy real food - eat dogfood instead - you wouldn't know the difference.

I actually really like Soyjoy bars. I think they're delicious. They don't taste like dirt at all.

Um, it's SOY...it's not going to taste like granola. You obviously spend most of your time eating junk food if you expected SoyJoy bars to taste anything other than how they taste. I also agree that they are good and this is supported by the fact that I cannot find them anywhere to buy because they are always sold out.

Not sure why she would even insult the makers of Soy Joy with this title, especially when it's apparent she doesn't know good taste and a healthy alternative. These bars are delicious and the size is just right. I love all of their brands, please try them for yourself.

I recently discovered SoyJoy bars. They are not bad. They certainly don't taste like dirt. I think the author of the article may be a bit pretentious (I've noticed this amongst vegetarians, actually). She compares SoyJoy to her own freshly made food, which is an unfair comparison. She admits to liking a fresh-made soy product which, in her words, can even be used as fertilizer for your garden. In other words, she enjoys eating literal dirt (well, fertilizer is kind of dirt) and then turns around and uses dirt as an insult. Talk about a double-standard! I found the article unfair, hyperbolic, illogical, and over-emotional. Yep, that's a female vegetarian! Anyway, my favorite is Mango Coconut, but all the ones I have tried have been good: Cacao-Orange, Apple, and Orange. By the way, I am a fairly picky eater, so trust me, they are acceptable. And I have found them to have energy-benefits. This author needs a spanking.

I dont "work for soyjoy or something like that", but I must say i do like soyjoy. I saw an ad in a health magazine and decided to try it. My favorite so far is strawberry. Granted they're not the most delicious, succulent, flavorful food on the planet, but its a nutritional bar afterall, and my experience with most nutritional bars are either it tastes like cardboard or like heavy metal. So expect Soyjoy to be dry and bit bland, but still sweet enough to be palatable. I do find the packaging annoying to open though.

Wow, do all the people who commented who like these things work for Soy joy or something? They are disgusting, like dried up fruitcake. Very chewy and hard, and so little they make me more frustrated and hungry in the end. I too eat lots of soy products and these really give soy a bad name! I am very shocked that anyone actually likes them.

I tried SoyJoy bars for the first time last week - Berry, Peanut Butter and Strawberry. They were on sale, so I thought I'd try it. Yummy. The Peanut Butter was my least favorite, but still good. I went back this week while they were still on sale and bought a lot more. They're kind of addictive! I don't understand why people don't like them.
