Well last week I did pretty well, I ended up winning my office pool. Week 4 of the NFL 2009 season is here and we are certainly getting entertained. Well let's get right to this weeks picks against the spread as of 9/29/09.
Oakland +9.5 at Houston
Oakland has just looked terrible this year and Houston can put up some points. I know it's a large spread, but take Houston minus the points.
Tennessee -3 at Jacksonville
Tennessee is 0-3 and yet they are favored, I just think that's funny, but I think the odds makers are right, take the Titans minus the points.
Baltimore +2 at New England
I think people are still confusing this year's New England team for the ones in years past. Baltimore has looked very good and they are getting points, take Baltimore.
Cincinnati -5.5 at Cleveland
Cleveland stinks and Cincinnati has looked surprisingly good, I like the Bengal's minus the points.
NY Giants -9 at Kansas City
We all saw what the Giants do to bad teams last week when they beat Tampa by a lot, and they will do the same this week. Take the Giants minus the points.
Detroit +10.5 at Chicago
I picked Detroit last week and call me crazy, but I am going to do it again. I don't think Detroit wins, but I think they will cover, the spread is just to big here.
Tampa Bay +7 at Washington
In a battle of stinkers, I guess I'll take Washington at home minus the points.
Seattle +9 at Indianapolis
The Colts have looked great this year and it's kind of a large spread, but I think Peyton and the Colts cover. Take the Colts minus the points.
NY Jets +6.5 at New Orleans
This should be a good game, a battle of undefeated teams. I am taking the Jets to cover. I am not sure if they will win, but they have a good defense so the spread just seems too large. Take the Jets plus the points.
Buffalo -2 at Miami
Miami just lost their starting quarterback for the year, so I am taking Buffalo minus the points.
St. Louis +9.5 at San Francisco
The Niners had a tough lost last week, but I think they will bounce back nicely and stomp St. Louis. Take the Niners minus the points.
