Living in a Trailer Park

I live in a trailer park. I have lived in this trailer park for 13 years. I have seen many people come and go from here. I wish I was one of those people who could get out of here but my money situation prevents me from doing that. It wasn't so bad when my kids were younger and didn't run around and play at other peoples trailers. Now that they are older I have to worry about the kids that they are hanging out with. Most of the other kids in this trailer park are bad news and do alot of things to get into trouble or do drugs. The cops are out here alot for various reasons. I have a 10 year old and 2 teenagers and I can't keep them tied up in the yard. I want them to be able to be normal kids and be able to go hang out with their friend and do things that kids at their ages do but it is so hard. There are only about 3 of their friends that I trust them to be around. I just have to hope and pray that I have done a good enough job teaching my kids right from wrong and hope they make the right decisions. I know that kids will be kids and no kids are perfect but hopefully they learn from their mistakes.

90 percent of the parents of the kids out here in the trailer park just don't care what their kids are doing and if you go and talk to them about their kids they just blow you off. They let their kids drive vehicles when the kids don't have a drivers license. Some of these kids are going around late at night and breaking out windows in empty trailers out here. Now I want to know why these kids aren't home and in bed by a certain time when they have school the next day. Yes there are kids out wondering all over the place and 11pm and midnight when they have school the next day. When it gets dark outside my kids are either in the house for the night or in the summer time they are in the yard. My kids are not allowed to go wondering all over the trailer park after dark.
