How to Organize Your Desk or Workspace

Last, I keep one notebook on my desk in front of my. I date a page each day. In it, I note work I accomplish or need to accomplish. I list and date bills that I paid, articles I wrote, payments received for articles,
ideas for new articles, notes from calls I receive, etc. If I need to track down information, I simply refer back to the date. I've tried the date planner, but I find myself needing larger spaces. I also like to organize the data in my own way. I keep spreadsheet of article payments, daily page views, page view payments and cumulative page views. I can keep track of my writing progress this way. I know that with computers and Internet, this sounds pretty old school. I works for me to have a 'scribbled note page'. It also satisfies my anal-retentive nature.

All the best to you in your work. Remember to name and claim that workspace as your own so you can manage it as you see fit. Mark your territory if necessary.

This is Fabulous!!! I really like the idea of your notebook. I keep trying different kinds of planners, different styles, weekly, daily, monthly..all of the above combined.....2 planners at once... it is just crazy! Trying to get it all to work for me seems impossible. I'm going to do your notebook system, then keep a small datebook in my purse for many dr appointments for my DD in my purse. Thank you so much for sharing!! I can't wait to try your ideas!!! This came at perfectly the right time!!!
Great ideas!
Sounds almost identical to the system I have used for years! Occasionally I file something and forget which file I filed it in! I think that's my brain getting old though!
Great ideas. I love the files for each person, no more digging for stuff!
I DEFINITELY need this! Not only am I disorganized, but I am just moving into my own office for my new business. Thanks!
I DEFINITELY
I'm old school, too. Try to do stuff on the computer, but end up writing it down in a notebook. The visual is good for me!
