The hottest hairy fashion trend isn't fur, faux or no, nor a purse-sized poodle. The latest area to be embraced by celebutantes is the lash line. Lush sets of lashes give girls a gorgeous upgrade. Plus, thanks to new technology, you can bat those sexy lashes from sun-up to sundown. Isn't it great to wake already glamorous?

Semi-Permanent Lashes

Luxe lashes aren't limited to Jessica, Lindsay and J. Lo. For fashionable women everywhere, individually applied lashes are quickly becoming a beauty necessity. The Lash Lounge in Colleyville is dedicated to the fab extensions. And, once you've treated yourself to a set of synthetic Xtreme Lashes, you can flirt for weeks sans mascara. Lashes are expertly applied one-by-one with a medical-grade adhesive. There's even a Lash Lover's Club to keep addicts well-kempt through the year. Swing into The Lash Lounge at 16 Village Lane, Suite 150, in Colleyville (817-514-9300), or visit thelashlounge.com for more information.

Heated Lash Curlers

If you just need a pick-me-up, a little curler can do the trick. Ladies who relied on using the hair dryer to warm conventional metal curlers have met with unhappily hot results. The Japonesque Heated Mini Lash Curler is a painless battery-operated device that curls stubborn lashes-all at once or a select few. Use it before or après mascara for eye-opening results.

Luxe Mascaras

Not quite ready to go faux? Choose a mascara with great technology. Blinc Kiss Me Mascara "tubes" each lash. Though it wands on the same, once Kiss Me is set, it forms tiny water-resistant tubes around each lash. The lightweight product effectively enhances lash volume and length. And, though it lasts two to three times longer than the traditional mascara, ease of removal makes Kiss Me truly gentle to sensitive lids.

DIY Faux Lashes

Did You Know?
If I make the lashes dark
And the eyes more bright
And the lips more scarlet,
Or ask if all be right
From mirror after mirror,
No vanity's displayed:
I'm looking for the face I had
Before the world was made.

With my first child all I was concerned about was should I or shouldn't I wear my fake lashes in delivery...finally decided no-somehow I overlooked the pain making me not care what was on my face, eyes, or anything else
