Real Estate Doyenne and Philanthropist Ebby Halliday Acers

Ebby Halliday Acers has made it her mission to help thousands of Texas families find their dream homes. As the founder of Ebby Halliday, REALTORS^®, one of the largest privately owned residential real estate firms in the country, Ms. Acers is a role model for women entrepreneurs nationwide. What began 60 years ago as a one-office Dallas real estate agency has become a 26-office operation that serves more than 17,000 families each year.

Ms. Acers is still very active in her namesake company and in numerous boards, councils, civic groups, business associations and charity committees. She has served as president of the North Dallas Chamber; was one of the founders of a Beautiful Clean Dallas; has served on the Board of the State Fair of Texas; and is a supporter of the Dallas Arboretum. She serves on the St. Paul Medical Foundation Board; serves on the Board of the Communities Foundation of Texas; serves on the Advisory Board of Thanksgiving Square; and serves on the Dallas County Community College District Foundation.

Ms. Acers drive to partner people with the perfect home extends past the real estate industry. Ebby Halliday, REALTORS is also a community sponsor of Happy Hill Farm Academy. For three decades, the Farm has provided children in need with a nurturing environment. Community sponsors, like Ebby Halliday, support a private school, clothing, food, shelter, vocational training and counseling. The boys and girls are given the tools they need to be successful in their next homes.

Her leadership, innovation and philanthropy have made Ebby Halliday Acers one of the most respected business owners in the Metroplex.
