Poem- What is a Real Man?

Answering the Question, Who Are Real Men?

What is a real man? Different people have difference opinions on the answer to that. This poem is my way of answering the question, what is a real man?

Real men work for a living

So to their family they can be giving

Whether with the plow or the pen

Providers are real men

Real men respect their baby
 mama

No matter the cost in her drama

Admitting to being wrong is done by real men

Every now and again

They are not bad boys

Using women as their toys

They play with their kids

Even when they would rather watch TV or vids

Attending a daughter's tea party

Making invisible cookies seem hearty

Or building a house in the tree

For the boy he used to be

I believe I am a real man

But can't answer that like my kids can

But one thing I just can't peg

Why women like 6 pack abs

When I have a whole keg!

In this day and age, men have begun to take on a form that is far from what a real man is.

Here's a Real Man talking about Real Men...that is a lovely little tie you've got...ahem, Focused on The Story!
Being a man is more than just looking the part or acting tough. It takes a family to teach someone what a real man is.
My personal thoughts on what makes a "real" man... and on what doesn't.
To be the center of attraction to almost all women a man must make himself a man to the women that he wants and what that woman thinks or knows is a real man.
Halloween is just another holiday we celebrate each year. Or is it? As a Christian, don't let fear keep you from letting the kids go trick-or-treating.

You have hit the nail on the head about real men (not players), and made me laugh with the last lines.

I LOVE IT! Really, really good, and oh so true! Real men wash dishes, have tea parties with their daughters, and cry when they watch Field of Dreams! ;-) And for the record, six pack abs are overrated.

LOL - cute but at the same time you did a wonderful job of addressing the situation - I wish we had more 'real men'

LOL. Nice Randy! Is there any Budweiser in that keg? Or do you drink Corona with a lime? Sissy!
