People have been having yard sales for decades. Somehow over the past few years, going "Yard Selling" of having a "Yard Sale" has become a part of our American Culture. There aren't too many people who can say that they haven't gone to a yard sale in their lifetime, or had one of their own. The idea of having a yard sale is quite ingenious. Who knows when, where or how the Yard Sale was first originated, but it was a darn good idea for making money, meeting new people, connecting with the community, and cleaning out your closets and knick knacks at the same time.

Most often people are shopping for good deals on furniture, electronics, books, housewares, knick knacks, and clothing. The american consumer loves knick knacks, that is why we all have so many of them. We are always looking for a bargain, and what better place can you find one than at your neighbors yard sale.
