Although the city of Fort Worth is rich with western history as the last major stop on the Chisolm Trail and a 19th century hot spot for gambling parlors and saloons, Texans know that longnecks and two-steps aren’t exactly everyone’s idea of a night on the town. City Streets (4th & Commerce) – This extra large night spot boasts four clubs in one: Atlantis for retro hits, The Blue Monkey for karaoke, Cages for hip-hop and top 40, and Racks & Balls for billiards and darts. They have a great happy hour, and Cages is where the beautiful people are after 9:00. Look for a rather flamboyant fellow in a sequined newsboy cap, a regular, to put on a great show on the dance floor. Flying Saucer (111 E. 4th St. @ Commerce) – This super-sized pub features nearly every beer under the sun, imported or domestic.
