To grab the audience's attention he tells how he will be leading the greatest demonstration for freedom in history. In the Introduction Of his speech Martin Luther King talks about The Emancipation Proclamation, which was a proclamation ending captivity of Negro slaves. He does not really give 5 points in which he breaks the speech into, He introduces his own topics as the speech go on. The introduction talking about the Emancipation Proclamation was very heartfelt and strong.
His main points were made very clear although he did not layout his speech in his introduction he still did the best out of any other speaker I have ever seen. He talked about the Emancipation Proclamation to begin with and then talks about how even after all the years that have passed Negroes are still not free. He then talks about how America is not living up to the constitution, how it states that all men are given the chance to have freedom and have rights to life. He brings in the topic of how this is just the beginning of the revolts that are going to take place until equality is reached. Justice is then spoken by him, He talks of how Negro's will no be satisfied until they receive justice. He then goes into his famous I Have a Dream Speech in which he talks of tall of the things he envisions as his perfect world and life. He speaks of how one day all men will be equal and be able to work with each other. He concludes with Let freedom ring, and how one day people of every religion will be able to come together.
