I'd seen the infomercials for the Natural Cures books countless times. I was always very curious about what was in it, but never so much that I was willing to spend the money. A short time ago, however, my husband and I were watching as they advertised the book as well as the second one More Natural "Cures" Revealed. Only shipping was required. So, I called, listened to many, many minutes of sales pitches aimed at getting me to buy other Kevin Trudeau related products and placed my order. I was pleased when it arrived quickly.

The first book was a huge disappointment. I was only interested in what was suggested for diabetes and to my dismay after flipping to the list of cures and locating diabetes on the list, what I read was and I'm quoting this straight from the book, "Candida cleanse; liver/gallbladder cleanse; eliminate all nonprescription and prescription drugs; exercise; digestive enzymes; raw apple cider vinegar; a combination of herbs researched at the University of Calgary for over twenty years, called by the Asian Diabetic Association the final cure for diabetes. I am forbidden by the Federal Trade Commission to mention the product by brand name; however, the person I interviewed who told me about this was Dr. Yung Su Kim, a Korean living in Canada. Also most of the licensed health-care practitioners that I recommend are fully aware of this product. The FTC did concede that I can recommend you to a licensed health-care practitioner. Please go to the end of this book for my recommended licensed health-care practitioners."

Well great, I thought, that doesn't help much. There is a specific brand name cure but you can't tell me what it is. That was too much. Not only that, but it did not suggest how much exercise or raw apple cider vinegar I needed. No way was this going to convince me to give up my prescription drug.

Takeaways
  • The suggestions in this book are more like treatments as opposed to cures.
  • Kevin Trudeau has difficulty sticking to a subject.
  • What should be a cheap alternative to drugs is actually quite expensive.
Did You Know?
According to the book, the drug companies put out drugs regardless of how dangerous they are to make money.

Yes, it is true. "It's all about the money!!!" "In stead of giving it to the pharmaceutical companies and the doctores, give it me?" While there may very well be some justification for buying books for money and expensive alternatives like Hoodia, keep talking and maybe you find a way to convinve me! Make no mistake about it; I am researching virtually every day, looking for viable answers. but Mr. Trudeau has a long way to go.

I read Kevin's first book, and yes I agree it was a little disappointing because he did not specifically name products...BUT, all it takes is a little bit of research. Eleotin is the combination of herbs he is talking about. Eleotin is made in Canada and has been available since 1999. It is not a drug, not commercially advertised and has sold more than 100,000 units by word of mouth and recently, the internet. You can find Eleotin all over the net.

I think you are missing the whole point of this book. Regardless of the fact you can go to an amazingly corrupt organization like wallmart and get your $10 crappy vitamins, they aren't good for you. The reason people are as sick and brainwashed as they are has to do with money. Wanting more of it by doing evil things, or being cheap and trying to have more of it but sacrificing your health and well being. I don't agree that scientology is a good thing either, but neither is christianity, and if he said he was a christian you wouldn't think twice about it...
