According to Mullah Dadullah, a military official of the Taliban, Osama Bin Laden is alive and controlling terrorist operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. In an interview with Al Jazeera on Wednesday, Mullah Dadullah said that Osama Bin Laden planned and supervised the suicide operation that targeted the Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney, on February 27, 2007. (Al Jazeera article.)

In the exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Mullah Dadullah said, "Thank God, he [Osama Bin Laden] is alive, we get updated information about it. Thank God, he plans the operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. You may remember the martyr operation inside the Bagram base which targeted a senior US official [United States Vice President Dick Cheney] ... that operation was a result of his wise planning. He planned that operation in details and guided us through it. The operation was a success."

In Afghanistan, Al Jazeera comments on the fierce resistance of the Taliban fighters against NATO forces in Operation Achilles. It reports Taliban fighters showing its reporters a room full of explosives being made into anti-tank bombs and saying, "Thanks to God we have good guns ... we are ready all the time to face them [NATO and Afghan government forces] in a battle." The Taliban fighters also claim to have anti-aircraft weaponry.

In Iraq, the Islamic State of Iraq, a group connected to Al Qaeda, claims to have been behind the murder of 40 United States soldiers. "Two knights from the Islamic State in Iraq ... driving two booby-trapped trucks hit the heart of the crusader American headquarters in the region of Diyala." Sources say that nine soldiers were killed and more than 20 others were injured in an attack considered to be bloodiest since 2005 when ten United States Marines were killed and eleven more wounded by a roadside bomb outside Falluja.

Looks the Bush/Cheney regime is gearing up to manipulate the citizens into more war, so they can call off election 2008 using their executive privilege and make the undoing of the democracy complete. Does no one know about the Euro versus the US dollar and all of that and the real reason we invaded Iraq. "Slightly singed passport" just happened to survive a fire so hot it burned steel.

And another good one, though I am way late on reading it.

Luis Miranda: Proof that even Idiots enjoy Freedom of Speech. Good Lord, man. Do you hate this country so much that you need to cultivate conspiracy theories to tear it down? May I suggest that you move? Preferrably to the Middle East. I suspect that once there, you will quickly learn the truth of the matter. I suppose that you believe we are fighing ourselves in Iraq as well, right? Get some professional help. Please.

For once Chaotic Ramblings, I really agree with you -- on your response to Luis, that is. Her comment was just...zany. I think my IQ just dropped a few points... o.o

Luis Miranda - You might want to seek out a psychologist or, if you are not an American, shut the hell up and crawl back under the rock you crawled out from under. America did not attack America. That is propaganda encouraged by terrorists and idiots. Which one are you?

Thank you, Manda.

I think Jamie is a good commentor-- Keep it up!! If people start getting irritated it should only prove that you are right. Some get sick when they find out just how wrong they really are. Oh, and great article Chaotic!!!

Luis Miranda - I never use ad hominem attacks -- but I find I must now. You are nuts if you really believe that. Sorry.

Dear author: While I agree with you on the fact the discussions should not be about party lines, I have to disagree on the analysis you have in your article. Bin Laden is neither the terrorist it is portrayed on the propaganda corporate controlled media nor is Al-Qaeda responsible for most of the attacks the US suffered and suffers. For those of you who still think so, let me tell you that Al-Qaeda is an operation of the CIA. Al-Qaeda members trained with CIA agents. It is all come out of the shadows. Bin Laden did not attack us on 9/11. The attacks in NY and DC were the product of corrupt members of the government who are paid and directed by fascist members of the world's elite -AKA bankers- who are the ones in control of the worlds money and who really pull the strings as far as foreign policy and military affairs. Since this space is limited, I will be happy to elaborate more on it if someone is interested.

I will be glad when the people we elected to serve this country get it through their heads that this is not about Dems vs., Reps. It is about the United States of American versus Terrorists and Countries intent on harming the United States and her people. I am sick of all the infighting and the name calling. I think we need to fire everyone involved in this and start from scratch with real Americans instead of people from the Politician Class. United we stand, divided we fall (and look like a bunch of frickin' idiots).

Heather James - Do not post comments here to personally attack someone. You don't even state what you disagree with. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Jamie, I apologize for you having been treated like that on one of my articles.

Bin Laden is Midas and the paupers he lives among will never betray him. They calll it "religion". Without oil and development money I wonder how religious the Taliban would be?

Why, thank you for noticing me, Heather. I actually think you sometimes make some insightful comments. It's a shame you would rather attack me than think about what I have to say.

Really well done.
