Save the Wedding Date Card Ideas for a Beach Wedding

Ok, I still can not get over some of the cute Save the Wedding Date cards out there. People are so creative! This save the date wedding card idea is absolutely perfect for a beach wedding. You can easily make this simple save the wedding date card with the help of a friend to take the photo for you!

Be sure to get a pedicure for you and your groom before you make these save the wedding date cards!

To Make these Beach Themed Save the Wedding Date Cards You Will Need:

Matte Photo Cards with Envelopes

Digital Camera

Black Sharpie Marker

Printer

Friend to take the photo

So, after you and your groom have had those manicures you will need to have friend help you write these words on the bottom of your feet:

1 st foot: Save

2^nd foot: the

3^rd foot: Da

4^th foot: te

So, peeled out it says save the date.

Now, you and your groom should take your shoes off and sit on the beach next to each other with your feet out in front of your. Have your friend write the words on the bottom of your feet so they read correctly in order.

Now, lean forward and grin big into the camera!

Have your friend take some photos at a bunch of different angles. My favorite angle is to have your friend lay down right in front of your feet and tae the shot so that your feet are the main part of the photo. Try taking this photo in color as well as black and white and see what you like.

Now, take some effort in planning what you wear, cuz you will see it a little in the photo. Try wearing jeans and white shirts.

Now, all you have to do is print out your fun and whimsical beach wedding save the date card photo out. Jot down your wedding date info on the inside of the card. Slip them in envelopes and mail them!

Now, for a little fun try print these out as I said, then printing some extra photos of your feet.

Cut your feet out with some scissors. Use some small circle of foam core board and glue them to the card. Now, glue the second set of feet on to create a three dimensional look! Scrap bookers will know how to do this!
